Final Video

Here is my final video, it is sort of a stop motion style video of all the photos. Hope you like it! I also sent the video to Fred Butler who put it on her blog (scroll down to the 10th Feb) she really liked it which was sort of the whole point really. Thanks!

Photo shoot 'Dress up Fred'

Here are just a few of the amazing pictures from todays shoot. Everyone worked really well, the origami shapes also worked really well (suprisingly!) we edited a few of them in because it was hard to get a good shot sometimes when all the focus was on the shapes.

Dress up day

Here are some pictures from my Dress up Day. It was held in the Arts Bar on my University and students (and teachers) were allowed to come and pick any items of fancy dress/charity shop clothes that they wanted in return for a before and after picture. I am going to pick my favourite outfits and use them in a photo shoot which will them be made into a video. This will be advertising Fred Butler, so i need to find a away to incorporate her style.

My little book

I found my Nylon Global style book, and really liked looking at the pictures of everyday peple from around the world i really loved this concept and also the idea of a book itself. So i decided to create my own. I used photos from the Nylon book and just jazzed up each one so it made them look more dressed up.

Photo collages

I thought i would start the ball rolling by dressing up people myself, i say people i mean pictures. I didnt want to force my friends just yet.

This Vivienne Westwood advert for her Gold label caught my eye. It is a very striking picture and the caption just came to mind. I have never seen anyone go to the shops like this, but think it would be brilliant!

Dusk til Dawn

'Dusk til Dawn' was the title of a party me and a friend threw over the summer. We wanted to create a special event for our close friends to attend. We didnt want to make it the usual boring party so we decided to make it secret.

We told our friends to arrive at a location that we had told them, that was all they were to know. And also the fact they had to dress up!
We led them to our secret location and the night began...

Everyone looked so good, definitely planning one for next year!
